Beyonce and Jay-Z - Happily Married

Jay-Z and Beyonce tied the knot on Friday (April 4) at a reportedly lavish New York ceremony.

Five days after the superstar couple applied for a wedding license, the couple reportedly held a star-studded wedding ceremony in New York.

Among those in attendance were Coldplay’s Chris Martin and his wife Gwyneth Paltrow, the parents of the bride and groom; Beyonce’s sister, Solange; Jay-Z’s mother, Gloria Carter; and former Destiny’s Child pals Kelly Rowland and Michelle Williams.

A florist in Thailand confirmed that she shipped thousands of white orchids to the wedding.

“The designer called us a week ago, and we had to move quickly,” she said. “We used a total of 200 workers to cut and process 100,000 Dendrobium White orchids, and then we hand-chose the best 60,000.”
